Early Ford flathead V8 (1932 to 1953)

The first Ford V8 models were produced in 1932. With some modifications and developments the cars and trucks powered by the famous Ford flathead V8 engine continued until 1954 when the new Y engine was introduced. Parts for these vehicles are popular among restorers and hot rodders. Original parts, particularly early body parts can now be difficult to find. A wide variety of aftermarket speed parts were produced for the flathead engine as became a popular motor for the post-war hot rod enthusiasts.
